STREET ART CULTURE

Our trusted production team, Brink Contemporary Arts was founded in 2010, with the aim of making art more accessible to the general public.
“Institutions that display works of art are often not that welcoming or inviting, so by creating works of art in the street we make it open and accessible to all, to everyone, no matter how old, how experienced or how knowledgeable they are about art.”
Mercia Murals intend to continue this legacy and to further explore the possibilities of art in the public realm. Establishing more partnerships with local authority organisations and community groups to identify key locations for works, that can radically change the mood of public spaces.

The work produced as part of Leamington Mural Festival has been very well received by the press, both nationally and locally, with numerous features on BBC news and radio, as well as other media outlets. Residents, visitors and social media followers have also given an overwhelming amount of positive feedback.
The volume and quality of the murals is attracting more and more people to the town, to enjoy discovering murals for themselves or taking one of the official guided tours, hosted by the Leamington History Group.
